This position supports our Structural Heart Medical Device division
out of our Plymouth, MN location. Our business purpose is to
restore health and improve quality of life by designing and
providing device and management solutions for treating structural
heart disease.The Assistant Controller, as a member of the SH
(Structural Heart) Management team, provides leadership in the
design, consolidation maintenance and evaluation of all financial
activities -for the SH Operations -in accordance with established
division -and corporate policies. - Provides guidance in setting
strategic direction and devising business plans to achieve the
long-term goals of the SH Operations.What You'll Work On
- Own and oversee financial consolidation (Forecast/Actuals) from
various global SH manufacturing sites and divisional cost centers
and timely/accurate communication to SH Operations and Finance
leadership.
- Prepare executive level presentation of financial view for LBEs
and reporting cycles.
- Oversees the development and management of financial budgets,
including Monthly close, forecast (LBE and Plan), for Divisional
Operation, Quality, and Supply Chain cost centers.
- Oversees capital spend/allocation (Forecast/Actuals) across SH
organizations.
- Interacts with the Global and Regional Manufacturing
Controllers, Directors, and Divisional VP of Operations through
presentations of financial plans/analyses/strategies.
- In conjunction with site controllers and SH Ops leadership,
sets the appropriate financial guidelines and deliverable timelines
to ensure timely submission of financial results and forecasts.
Facilitates proper reporting, analysis and monitoring of actual
results across manufacturing organizations.
- Works in conjunction with manufacturing sites and Operations
leadership to develop and implement financial and operational
metrics to measure and track productivity and operation
excellence.
- Facilitates development and deployment of process improvements
including automation to enable improved planning and reporting
across Global Manufacturing/Quality organizations.
- Manage and develop a team of analysts/supervisorRequired
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
preferably in manufacturing finance and consolidation
- Bachelors' Degree: - Accounting/Finance.
- The incumbent must have a good working knowledge of Cost
Accounting concepts and generally accepted accounting
principles.
- Demonstrated leadership, business partnering, and people

- Excellent communication (both oral and written) & interpersonal
skills. - -
- Must be results oriented, self-starter/motivated, a strong
managerial background with good business sense.
- Solid technical skills - Excel, PowerPoint, Finance systems
(Essbase, ERP, SAP)Preferred Qualifications
- Masters' Degree: -MBA (Finance)/CPA
- A background in all areas of manufacturing accounting,
specifically in cost, planning and analysis and manufacturing

The base pay for this position is $125,300.00 - $250,700.00. In
specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range
posted.
