Job Summary
This position exists to lead compliance for the State Small
Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) Programs within the Office of
Business Finance (OBF). You will act as the expert on federal and
state regulations, set up and maintain compliance procedures, and
ensure adherence to transaction and reporting requirements. Your
role involves working both within the division and with external
partners to ensure effective compliance and reporting
processes.
Duties:
This position is telework eligible and is occasionally required to
be on-site at the office. Staff are provided with the tools and
equipment to be successful in a virtual work environment and may
telework from anywhere in Minnesota or a neighboring state. Please
note, the telework policy could change with notice based on
business needs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in
the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and
year for each job held. Only applicants whose resumes clearly
demonstrate fulfillment of each of these minimum qualifications
will be considered for this position.
Four (4) years* of experience in public administration, lending
operations or venture capital operations, including a strong
understanding of legal and compliance aspects related to government
regulations.
*A Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Legal Studies, or a
closely related field as determined by the agency may substitute
for one (1) year of experience; a Master's degree in Public
Administration, Law or Legal Studies, or a closely related field
may substitute for eighteen (18) months of experience; a Juris
Doctor (JD) or Master's degree in Law or Legal Studies with an
emphasis in Business Law and Compliance may substitute for
twenty-four (24) months of experience.
