Job Summary
Under limited supervision, this position serves to maintain the
day-to-day content of the primary DEED external websites. This
position serves as a critical member of the communications team,
providing guidance, ideas and implementation on new digital tools
and website content.
This position provides communications expertise and consultation.
Position develops, plans, implements, and coordinates
communications strategy and activities for the agency and division
to ensure internal and external stakeholders are well informed.
This position will ensure that communications follow enterprise and
agency web standards and related laws and rules.
This role will also work with programs across the agency to help
write website content for them as needed.
Responsibilities include:
This position is telework eligible. Staff are provided with the
tools and equipment to be successful in a virtual work environment.
Please note, the telework policy could change with notice based on
business needs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in
the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and

demonstrate fulfillment of each of these minimum qualifications
will be considered for this position.
Three (3) years of experience planning, designing, writing, editing
and implementing effective print and electronic communications,
marketing or public relations strategies sufficient to meet agency
communication needs
