About the Job
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota seeks a
pulmonology physician to lead the University of Minnesota Pediatric
Cystic Fibrosis Program and hold the Pediatric Therapeutic
Development Network Directorship. This position will have clinical
responsibilities in pediatric pulmonology/cystic fibrosis, and will
further develop and lead the pediatric cystic fibrosis program. The
individual chosen will hold the Marzatto Chair in Cystic Fibrosis
Care.
Successful candidates will be at or eligible for the rank of
Associate Professor or Professor with Tenure, depending on
qualifications and interests. Support for bench or clinical
research will be made available as part of the recruitment.

About the Department
The Department of Pediatrics is a large academic department with
over 100 full-time faculty and ranks in the top 10 nationally in
NIH funding. Children are cared for at the University of Minnesota
Masonic Children's Hospital, opened in 2011. The University of
Minnesota campus is on the shores of the Mississippi River and the
city of Minneapolis, a short distance away from St. Paul. Both
cities have high standards of livability, outstanding schools, and
numerous cultural and sports events. The Twin Cities and
surrounding area possess many opportunities for year-round
activities with many lakes, including miles of biking and
