When you walk through the front doors of our , you'll immediately feel just how special a place this is for students in Kindergarten through Grade 5. Status: Full-time, Exempt

Department: Instructional Faculty, Lower School, 3/4 Homeroom Teacher

Salary Range: $46,000-$65,000 based on years of experience and level of degree

Position Description:

Candidates should have experience teaching Lower School students in Upper Elementary grades (3rd/4th). Candidates should possess the ability to teach the full range of homeroom content areas including literacy, mathematics, and social studies. In addition, candidates should demonstrate the ability to create developmentally appropriate curricula, establish a nurturing and engaging classroom environment for students, and work collaboratively with a teaching partner, various colleagues, and parents/guardians. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with knowledge regarding best instructional practices in language arts, social studies, and mathematics. Preferred qualifications include previous experience with Responsive Classroom, Primary Math or Singapore math methods, Wilson Fundations, Readers/Writers Workshop, and Fastbridge assessments.
