We are hiring a Transportation Civil Engineer to design, plan, and oversee transportation projects, including roadway and highway infrastructure, traffic flow improvements, and multimodal transportation systems.

What the Transportation Engineer Will Do:



Design and analyze transportation infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, intersections, and roundabouts (if qualified).
Utilize software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation. Traffic analysis tools (e.g., Synchro, HCS, VISSIM) are a plus.
Support project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with other departments on interdisciplinary projects.



Qualifications:



Professional Engineer (PE) license
5+ years of experience in transportation engineering, roadway design, or traffic engineering
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads)
Strong knowledge of MnDOT standards a plus.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
