Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring a Materials Lab Research Chemist III with a well-known industry leader in Maplewood, MN.

This is a first shift position.

As a Lab Research Chemist you will:
Complete physical testing on materials and products in support of experiments & verification.
Participate in new or existing test method development and test method validation.
Conduct analyses of test results in statistical software packages such as Minitab and report results.
Work with multiple functions in a team-based environment to attain project milestones.

Estimated Duration up to 24 months.

The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in the Sciences
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple objectives simultaneously.
Strong communication skills (written, oral, and presentation) and systems proficiency.
One year of experience developing, supporting and/or maintaining commercialized products in a private, public, government or military environment
Physical testing experience on medical device, drug, or combinational products [i.e., FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485], including sterile barrier, force testing (Zwick/Instron), etc.


Pay Rate: $34.35 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
