SummaryRooted in a rich railroad heritage, Hager City is one of our
two factories in Wisconsinlocated across the Mississippi River from
Red Wing, Minnesota and about 250 miles from our location in
Jefferson. Over 50 dedicated associates come together to produce
wet and dry coatings for our pet food brands nationwide, making
this location truly special. We also work to do our part to care
for the environment we share, like conserving water, investing in
renewable electricity, and maintaining zero waste for disposal.

exceptional pet food coatings.As a Staff Engineer, youll oversee
equipment and factory layout design, manage capital programs and
key projects, and ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the factory,
utilities, and grounds in compliance with state and federal
regulations and company. Youll work with cross-functional groups in
the successful management and execution of key projects as well as
hold budgetary responsibility for assigned projects.Participate in
the development, implementation, and coordination of the capital
budget to improve and maintain equipment and facilitiesLead and
manage assigned capital projects to include new equipment
installations, factory layout and design, manufacturing automation
projects, and maintenance related projectsDevelop scope of work and
evaluate bids for work completion and research energy utilization
to continually reduce energy costsMonitor outside contractors to
assure compliance with all company standards including sanitation,
safety, quality, productivity, and budgetingDirect the installation
of new equipment and/or modification/rearrangement of existing
equipment for assigned projectsWorking knowledge of the engineering
environmental activities including air, sanitary sewer, storm sewer
and solid wasteResponsible for the cost schedule and performance of
assigned projectsRequirementsBachelors Degree in Engineering or
related technical field2+ years of experience in an engineering
role within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related
environmentOther1+ years of capital project or budget management

approximate pay range for this position is $72,000 - $101,000.

for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may
vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge,
