Location: Minneapolis, MN (hybrid 3 days on-site per week)
Duration: 6+ Month
Compensation: $52-57/hr.
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Seeking highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver data initiatives. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analytics, governance, and cloud engineering, combined with excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Execution - Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables, including a detailed project plan
2. Team coordination - Collaborate with Technology and business teams
3. Stakeholder engagement - Establish steering/leadership structures and communicate project updates to stakeholders
4. Risk management - Identify potential project risks and mitigation; Ensure compliance with applicable policies
5. Performance monitoring and reporting - Prepare and deliver project reports, dashboards, and presentations
6. Budget and Resource Management - Manage project budget and resources
Preferred Skills
1. Manage projects with Data Integration and Management
o Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, process, and store financial data from various sources (internal and external)
o Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple systems such as accounting software, trading platforms, financial databases, and market feeds.
2. Manage projects with Database Design and Optimization
3. Data Quality and Governance
o Implement data quality checks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
o Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
4. Collaboration with Stakeholders:
o Work with data scientists, financial analysts, and business intelligence teams to understand data needs and ensure data is accessible and usable for analysis.
o Collaborate with software engineers and IT teams to ensure seamless integration with other business systems.
Education/Certification
Required: BA degree
PMP Certification
