Overview:Fairview is looking for an experienced RN to join our
Gamma Knife speciality in our Radiology department at the
University of MN Medical Center East Bank hospital.Position: RN in
Gamma Knife specialtyLocation: University of MN Medical Center East
Bank hospitalFTE: 1.0 (80 hours per pay period), flexible hours
depending on procedure schedule, and no weekends
required.Compensation: Salaried position starting at $46.25/hr,
with potential for higher wages based on

clinician is an advocate for quality care and an inspirational and
visionary role model for the advancement of professional nursing
practice across the continuum of care. Provides direct patient care
for a specified population. Partners with colleagues to achieve
excellence in the delivery of patient care to designated population
groups. The clinician promotes nursing professional practice
through education, role modeling and clinical expertise. The
clinician leads the planning, development and implementation of
best practices and standard of care through the development of
programs, policies, guidelines focused on continual quality

consultation, clinical expertise and decision-making, excellent

other resources.Job Expectations:Patient Care and Evaluation of
Clinical PracticeProvides greater than 50 percent direct patient
care which may include treatments, counseling, promoting self-care,
patient education, or administration of medications.Identifies and

ultimately improves health care outcomes.Participates in designs

assigned.Qualifications:Required:Education: Bachelor's Degree in
Nursing or related field. If the bachelor's degree is not in
nursing, then a master's degree in nursing is required.Experience:
2 years of nursing experience.License/Certification/Registration:
Current MN RN License.Preferred:Education: Advanced Degree in
nursing or related field.Experience: 3 or more years of nursing
experience.License/Certification/Registration: Certification in
Specialty Area.These qualifications outline the educational,
