Our wages are competitive and we offer a great work / life balance!In this role, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate an organized program of infection control within the framework of policies and objectives established by the Administrator and Director of Nursing.This is a--Full-Time,--benefit eligible position working Monday through Friday (8 hours per day).Pay Range: $83,000 - $95,000 / year depending on experienceBenefits:Competitive wages with credit for experienceTuition Discount Opportunities/ Scholarships/ Student Loan Forgiveness (site specific, ask for details)Paid Time Off (PTO)403(b) or 401(k) with employer matchHealthcare, dental, health savings, vision, life, disability, & flex spending options for Full-Time employeesEmployer paid Basic Life Insurance for Full-Time Employees--Employee Discount ProgramLongevity Recognition, Paid Volunteer Time, and Mentorship ProgramsCollaborative and Inclusive Work CultureEmployee Assistance Program with free confidential counseling/coaching for self and family members--On-Site ParkingInfection Control Nurse Responsibilities:Implements and maintains the facility's immunization policies.Reports requirements for when and to whom to report incidents of communicable disease or infection.Surveillance to identify possible communicable disease or infection utilizing a proactive approach to prevent further spread.Identifies circumstances when isolation will be used, including the type and duration of isolation, focusing on the least restrictive form of isolation to meet the needs of the resident and the safety of others.Identifies and manages of infections or communicable disease among staff members, including prohibiting staff from direct contact if transmission is likely.Develops hand hygiene procedures based on recognized standards.Participates in facility QAPI, Quality Assessment and Assurance Committee and will participate in the facility QAPI plan.Performs other duties as assigned.Infection Control Nurse Skills and Requirements:Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota.Must have current CPR certification.Strong clinical background and knowledge of LTC rules and regulations.Knowledge of infection control standards and practices.Experience in wound care and wound staging.Must have excellent attendance record & ability to work flexible hours as needed.Able to maintain confidential information.Location:--Redeemer Health Care Center is a part of Cassia and located in the Central Metro.--Address:--625 W 31st Street, Minneapolis, MN 55408About Us:Redeemer Health Care Center--in Minneapolis--provides short-term rehab, long-term skilled care, and memory care.--Our dedicated employees have been serving the community in the spirit of Christ's love since 1946.
