Hospice Massage Therapist: -Have independence and flexibility in the field to visit patients one on one in their home environment to provide comfort touch massage.Hours: Part-time or Casual -1-2 days a week - Flexible schedule with days and hours -Enjoy some of these notable benefits: - -

    • Successful completion of post-secondary course of study from an accredited/licensed school for Massage Therapy.
    • One year of Massage Therapy experience required.
    • Hospice massage therapy experience preferred.
    • Able to travel within a geographic area serviced by office. -Valid driver's -license and proof of auto insurance required.
    • CPR Certification -Some functions of what you would do as a Massage Therapist
      • Conduct initial evaluation, assessing & identifying patient's needs.
      • Provides massage therapy services to patients in accordance with physician's orders and the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) plan of care with a focus on a hospice and palliative care approach.
      • Communicates with the IDG regarding the patient's condition/status and progress toward goals.
      • Participates in IDG meetings as requested.
