We possess a tremendous team and see some outstanding clientele. Our team comprises three doctors, three certified veterinary technicians, several technician/kennel assistants, and CSRs. Position Purpose:We are growing and very excited about the opportunity to add another veterinarian to our team!Our founding DVM, Dr. Wilke, is a board certified surgeon, which has allowed our practice to build a large specialty surgery, theriogenology, and physical therapy caseload. If you are a DVM with surgical interest, this position would be great for you.Our practice serves as a fantastic opportunity for DVMs of all interests. In addition to general wellness and diagnostic care, our board-certified small animal surgeon sees a variety of specialized surgical procedures ranging from fracture repairs to gastropexies. We also have a full-service rehab facility with an underwater treadmill, Piezo shock wave, therapeutic ultrasound, cold laser, and e-stim.If you are a veterinarian seeking to join a practice that offers such diversity, we encourage you to apply. • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
• Interpret diagnostic results.
• Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
• Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
• Maintain patients medical records.
• Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.Requirements/Qualifications:
  • DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
  • Appropriate state licensure.
    • Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
    • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.Benefits Offered:
