Job Description:
Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Tech II with a well-known
industry leader in Maplewood, MN.

In this role you will apply strong mechanical aptitude and
problem-solving skills to developing and applying particle
processing and material analysis techniques.
This is a first shift position.
As a Lab Tech II you will:
Have xperience with chemical processes or quality control
preferred.
Document test results, perform basic statistical analysis, and
provide observations and conclusions.
Effective communication and prioritization are essential, including
working with a multifunctional team of engineers, scientists,
marketing, and application specialists.
Estimated Duration up to 24 months.
The ideal candidate will have:
One year technician experience in a private, public, government or
military environment
--- Two or more years of experience in process or product
development using 5S, Six Sigma, SPC or similar methodologies
--- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
--- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
--- Strong written and verbal communication skills
--- Ability and desire to excel in a highly interdisciplinary,
team-oriented work environment
Education:
--- BS Degree preferred OR Associates Degree in mechanical,
electrical, materials, electrical, or process
engineering or a similar field
Pay Rate: $30.53 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
