Job Description:
Customer Service Representative
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for being the first line of contact
for Harcros. This may include email, mail, telephone, web portal,
or in person by internal & external customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Other duties may be
assigned. Responsibilities may vary by location.
* This position must be able to handle a large volume of emails,
phone calls and sales order processing.
* Will be the liaison between customers and internal & external
associates.
* Processing orders for material or merchandise received from
customers.
* Responsible for interacting with customers & suppliers via email,
phone call, and web portal.
* Participate in general office duties such as filing, ordering
office supplies, sort and deliver mail, and more.
* Enter orders into computer, check inventory levels, generating
shipping papers, and check customer credit.
* Constant communication with customers regarding their order
status.
* Being the point of contact for external & internal departments
such as customers, suppliers, warehouse, shipping & freight
carriers.
* Check orders for accuracy. Gather & attaches required additional
documentation.
* Prepare & process invoices, issue credit memos, and assist Credit
Dept. by checking customer payment status.
* Processes vendor invoices, freight bills, product returns,
freight claims, and corrected billings.
* Maintains signature file of additional forms for customer order
release.
* Schedule production of product as necessary.
* Coordinates shipments to other branch facilities and
customers.
Experience and Education Criteria
* High school Diploma or General Education Degree
* 1-3 years related experience and/or training
* OR equivalent combination of education and experience
