Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder I - Technical to join their
inpatient coding team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assign and verify proper ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for diagnoses and
procedures
Review documentation to ensure accurate coding and compliance with
reimbursement guidelines
Participate in coding meetings and maintain continuing education to
uphold coding standards
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Completion of an AHIMA or AACP-certified Coding program or
equivalent
Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, and
coding guidelines
Preferred six months of hospital coding experience
Act 34 clearance required
