Developer/Software Engineer -Automation and Agentic AI Development and Support

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Software Engineer for a contract position that can be worked 100% remotely. The opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary: This request is for a Developer/Software Engineer in support of enterprise automation and Agentic AI. The scope of services to be provided will be for the development and support of automation using Microsoft Platform technologies, including Copilot Agents, Power Automate, and AI/GenAI. The primary goal for the automation is to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operational costs.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Automation Development and ImplementationDesign, develop, and deploy automation solutions including AI Agents and Chat Bots using Microsoft Power Automate and Copilot Studio.
Utilize AI-powered capabilities, such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML), to enhance automations.
Implement intelligent document processing (IDP) techniques to extract and process information from documents.
Configure and manage automation solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Develop robust error handling and exception management mechanisms.

Deployment and SupportDeploy solutions to the production environment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing automations and newly developed automations, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and performance optimization.
Establish a robust support process to address issues and inquiries promptly.


Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in automation design and architecture using automation tools, low-code/no-code platforms, and scripting languages.
Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate for designing and implementing complex automated workflows, including the use of connectors, custom actions, and error handling.
Familiarity with AI Builder and its capabilities for incorporating AI into automation processes.
Deep understanding and experience with Microsoft Copilot Agents and Copilot Studio:
Conversational Design: Experience designing and implementing conversational flows within Copilot Studio, including user intents, entities, dialog management, and context handling.
Knowledge Base Integration: Ability to connect Copilot Agents to knowledge bases and data sources to provide accurate and relevant information to users.
AI Capabilities: Leveraging AI capabilities like natural language understanding (NLU), sentiment analysis, and language generation to enhance the agent's responses and interactions.
Agent Customization: Skills in customizing the agent's appearance, personality, and voice to align with brand guidelines and user expectations.
Testing and Optimization: Experience with testing and refining Copilot Agent performance, including A/B testing, user feedback analysis, and continuous improvement.
Security and Ethical Considerations: Understanding of security and ethical considerations related to AI-powered conversational agents, including data privacy, bias mitigation, and responsible AI development.
Experience in designing and architecting automation solutions for the healthcare industry is highly desired.
Experience in integrating automation solutions with various systems and applications using APIs, web services, databases, etc.
Experience in documenting and maintaining the automation architecture, design, and code.
Experience in training and mentoring the automation developers and testers on the best practices and standards of automation development.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Certification in automation tools, low-code/no-code platforms, or scripting languages is a plus.
