Psychotherapist to join our Therapy Team (specifically within the
outpatient Adult Psychiatry Clinic). This full-time role will be
Monday-Friday with the option of one virtual day per week. We have

a mental health professional provides direct mental health services
including screening, diagnostic assessment, psychoeducation, and
psychotherapy services with persons living with mental illness;
evaluates care and programming; and develops programming as

A $5000.00 hiring incentive is available for eligible external
candidates (contract/temporary workers, current employees, and
former employees returning to HHS within one year are
ineligible).RESPONSIBILITIES:Participates in multidisciplinary care
team roundsProvides mental health services including initial and
ongoing screening, diagnostic assessment, treatment planning
(including regular updates), psychoeducation, psychotherapy
services, crisis services, referrals, and discharge/termination
planningCompletes necessary documentation for accurate and timely
billing of clinical services providedProvides psychoeducation to
patients, families, and community organizations as neededProvides
care coordination including discharge/termination planningProvides
on-call phone coverage for patient coaching as requiredProvides
clinical supervision to graduate-level mental health practitioners
in compliance with HHS and regulatory guidelines (e.g., licensing
boards, state regulations, etc.)Assists in maintaining standards of
accreditation by health management organizations and state
licensure/certificationOther duties as
assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Qualifications:Meets criteria for
'Mental Health Professional' as defined in MN statuteMaster's
degree in a behavioral health fieldPreferred
Qualifications:Experience providing psychotherapy groups and
experience working with persons living with mental illness and
addictionKnowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:Ability to counsel and
instruct patients and familiesAbility to recognize and document
patient progressAbility to work cooperatively with other members of
the multidisciplinary clinical teamAbility to interact effectively
with individuals from diverse backgrounds including ability to deal
objectively with individuals whose attitudes and behaviors differ
from her/his ownAbility to read and interpret written instructions,
patient charts, and physicians' notesAbility to interpret policies
and procedures in an advisory capacityAbility to use computer
systems, including electronic medical records, along with working
knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook,
etc.)License/Certifications:Must be a licensed Mental Health
