Job Description:

Part-time or Full-time, 60-80 hours per pay period, 5:30a.m.- 4:30p.m Tuesday-Friday. The Sleep Center is accredited with AASM American Academy of Sleep Medicine.The Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the medical director to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and out of center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. A sleep technologist is able to perform the duties defined for a technologist and is able to provide oversight of other sleep center staff.The Day Tech will deliver wide-ranging support of sleep center operations including:Provide evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center studies and home sleep apnea tests (HSATs)Provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventionsProvide patient care and direct patient educationProvide support for DME sales including instruction on use of PAP therapy equipment and troubleshooting home equipment issuesAssist with patient scheduling and chart preparationUpdate and verify personal information and insuranceRequired:Technical Training in a polysomnography program with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility or, equivalent experience with documented proficiency in all required competencies of a Polysomnographic Technologist or, meets Board Registered Polysomnographic (BRPT) standards for a sleep technologist.Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within 90 days of employment.Excellent customer service, public relations, and communication skills.Ability to prioritize and work with a fluctuation in workload while working independently.Ability to adapt to change and engage in ongoing process improvement.Obtain and maintain mandatory continuing education units (CEU) each year to maintain licensure and/or registry.Benefits & Compensation:Base Pay Range: $27.65-$41.45, initial pay based on relevant work experience.Mankato Clinic is proud to offer our employees work/life balance.All employees scheduled 60-80 hours per pay period are eligible for full benefits.Health Insurance - all care received at the Mankato Clinic for employees and family members on the plan is covered at 100% after a $40 copay.Dental InsurancePaid Time Off as well as Salary Continuation TimePaid HolidaysLife Insurance/AD&DGenerous 401(k)/Profit Sharing PlanEducation Assistance and Scholarship opportunitiesEmployee Success Sharing Bonus ProgramCredit towards Mankato Clinic ApparelVolunteer Program that supports the non-profits that matter to you!Wellness ProgramEmployee Appreciation EventsVisit to view all benefits.About UsPatients are at the heart of all we do at the Mankato Clinic.
