The MRI technologists work collaboratively within the Imaging team and amongst varying levels of clinical practitioners.We are seeking an MRI Technologist to support MRI services. Typical schedule and hours will be evenings, Monday - Friday, 3:00PM - 11:00PM.Benefits: This position is eligible for ADIT benefits. This includes medical, dental, vision, HSA, PTO, 403B, tuition reimbursement, and so much more!This position is eligible for up to a $5000 sign-on bonus Responsibilities/Job Description:Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomesPerforms individualized, compassionate patient carePerforms high quality examinationsIdentifies relevant data from images accuratelyUses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs.Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professionalParticipates in creating a culture of patient safetyDemonstrates knowledge of emergency preparednessVerify patient identification and documentationCommunicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of examAchieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocolApplies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing proceduresEnsures patient data integrityAdheres to radiologic safety guidelines and diagnostic testing protocols/proceduresAccurately documents in compliance with regulatory agency requirements, completes computer functions, edits, scheduling, and billing status changesFollows infection control guidelinesServes as a resource for other healthcare team membersResponds appropriately to emergent situationsAccurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archivingAssesses the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering substancesActs as a resource for problem-solving resolutionCompleted all require continuing education to uphold their imaging licensureParticipates as an active team memberParticipates in department/facility process/quality improvement initiativesResponsible for personal and professional development to ensure current knowledge required for positionCleans and maintains room and suppliesProvides integrated services with customers and care partners to ensure high quality care.Contributes to a positive work environment.Correctly operates equipment according to accepted standards and guidelinesIdentifies and responds to equipment problems to ensure equipment is working properly.Maintains a high level of competency and follows MRI Safety protocolsAccepts new technology as it's introduced into the facilityParticipates in Quality Assurance testing as required by regulatory agencies and/or manufacturer recommendationsQualifications:Required Qualifications:Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT)Basic Life Support (BLS) - from American Red Cross or American Heart AssociationMeet MRI Safety Screen requirementsPreferred qualifications:Prior MRI Experience (1+ years)ARRT MRI certification or successful completion within 18 months of hireExperience with Epic/RadiantUnderstanding of current ACR Guidelines for MRI SafetyKnowledge of MRI quality control and safety standardsWe are are open to candidates without prior MRI experience who are highly motivated to train on the job to become a certified MRI Technologist.by Jobble
