Job Description:
The prospective candidate will work in the capacity of "Market
Group Owner" and look to help Ameriprise India - PracticeSource
grow the business through consultative sales calls/outreach and
orient the Franchise advisors through the services available at
PracticeSource.Besides the sales activities and initiatives, the
candidate will work with the field leaders to strategize on the
potential campaigns to drive higher penetration in the assigned
market groups. Additionally, this position would include potential
stateside travel to represent PracticeSource at Ameriprise
Conferences and advisor offices to educate advisors about
PracticeSource offerings.Key Responsibilities
- Onboard Ameriprise franchise advisors for Ameriprise India -
PracticeSource Services
- Support Market Group Owners on Sales Activities &
Initiatives
- Manage Market Groups after the first few months of on-the-job
training
- Cold Calling - build key advisor relationships, identify
business opportunities, negotiate with and onboard advisors and
track potential opportunities
- Consultation Calls - reach out to advisors and identify
potential new leads, orient them with PS services, ultimately
convert them into our customers, and continue to grow business by
getting new planning demand into the system
- Support Sales Initiatives - Drive, track and report success of
marketing campaigns
- Travel (if required) to attend conferences, corporate office
and advisor officesRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5+ years of experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of financial planning tools and processes
- Ability to collaborate, develop, and maintain relationships
with field leaders
- Effective time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Should be able to think on their feet and provide a
consultative approach to the advisors
- Positive attitude and willingness to constantly learn and
growPreferred Qualifications
- Prior knowledge of financial planning tools would be
preferred
