Volt is immediately hiring an Machinist in ELK RIVER, Minnesota 55330

As a Machinist , you will be responsible for:

Operates fabricating machines, such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines, and punch, that cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures.
Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Positions stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template.
Looking for CNC Operators, Preferred skills in tool changes, set ups, fixture changes
Sets-up, runs and programs a variety of machines that include CNC, production porting equipment, lathes, vertical mills.
Runs multiple machines as required by process or as directed.
Ability to edit programs to control machining of parts by automatic machine tool operation-preferred but not required.
Set-Up - most critical area of the job
Performs complex set-ups on CNC machine tools


Location: ELK RIVER, MN 55330
Duration: 6+ Months contract
Pay: $36- $39/hr.

Shift - 2nd
