Genesis10 is seeking a Enterprise Solution Architect for a
contract ending in December 2025 with our client in Eagan, MN. 100%
Remote.

Summary:
Client is engaged in an exciting Cloud Transformation Program which
will migrate client on-premises applications to the cloud to
improve scalability, flexibility, cost efficiency, and performance.
The Enterprise Solution Architect will provide solution
architecture support to the Application Transformation, Cloud
Operations, and FinOps/Work Force modernization workstreams. These
workstreams will focus on assessing on-premises applications and
defining the transformation strategy for the applications as well
as Cloud Operations and Cloud Financial Management solutions. From
a program standpoint, you will be involved in: Supporting the
application transformation, cloud operations, and FinOps teams to
provide architecture tradeoff analysis, solution analysis, solution
approach and recommendations to define transition and target state
operations, support, and application lifecycle management
solutions.
Responsibilities: Translate business needs and objectives into
technical solutions, ensuring that IT infrastructure and
applications support the organization's strategic goals
Design and architect cloud service and operations solutions that
meet business requirements, and considers cloud native
non-functional requirements like scalability, manageability,
security, compliance, performance, and cost
Collaborate with leaders, architects, developers and engineers to
develop overall cloud solutions, including option analysis and
tradeoffs that properly balance both IT and business
constraints
Define and design operational processes to govern, manage and
operate cloud services at scale
Create and maintain architectural documentation, standards, and
best practices to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge
sharing across the organization
Align solutions with company's business goals, objectives, and
Enterprise Architecture
Assist with establishing reusable Cloud solution patterns
(services, infrastructure, integration, monitoring and security)
for solving reoccurring business/technology problems
Assist with define architecture decisions, decision criteria and
guidelines that direct the selection, design, implementation and
use of cloud services within the enterprise
Assists Enterprise Architect with the management of cloud target
and reference architectures, standards and patterns that direct the
selection, development, implementation and use of cloud services
within the enterprise
Work directly with Developers and Engineers to mentor, guide, and
evaluate them on reusability techniques, best practices, and
desired or required patterns
Work with vendors and do independent research to architect and
design state of the art cloud solutions
Other duties as assigned
Experience, Skills & Knowledge 8+ years in Business Analysis,
System Design and Development, Systems Engineering, or Technical
Architecture; to include 3 years direct experience working within
an Architect role
In-depth knowledge of two or more architectural domains
(application, infrastructure, integration, and/or security
architecture)
Experience as a senior level architect working on significant
enterprise change initiatives
Proficiency with major cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Google
Cloud
Experience in managing, supporting and operating applications on
AWS and/or GCP
Proven experience in designing and supporting scalable, secure, and
cost-efficient cloud solutions.
Strong knowledge and understanding of FinOps concepts, framework,
principles and capabilities
Experience with modern API architectures and best practices.
Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills for
presenting ideas and achieving consensus.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience using tools such as
Terraform AWS CloudFormation.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs, load
balancers, and firewalls.
Proficiency in modeling architectures using industry-standard tools
like ArchiMate, Visio, or Miro
Familiarity with cloud security principles, data protection, and
compliance frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2.
Self-learner and ability to work independently
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical
challenges
Strong organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal,
communication, and negotiation skills
Preferred Experiences / Skills Knowledge of SAFe Agile Framework
and TOGAF principles.
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect,
and/or Google Cloud Professional Architect
Experience solutioning hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
AWS and GCP preferred.
Formal FinOps training and/or certifications
Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog,
Splunk, or Dynatrace and integrating these tools into IT Service
Management platforms
Proficiency with containerization tools like Docker and
Kubernetes
Familiarity with cloud architectures in Pharmacy Benefit Management
(PBM) or healthcare
Reporting Structure
Reports to a Sr. Enterprise Architect in the Information Technology
department
