plays an important role in risk management by ensuring the Business
Line controls have been appropriately designed and executed to
mitigate the identified risks. The Testing Analyst will report to
either the BLQA Manager or the BLQA Team Leader.In meeting this
objective, the BLQA Testing Analyst will be responsible for
performing the following key activities for a portfolio of
controls, which include:
- Leading process walkthroughs with control owners & key
stakeholders
- Scheduling testing in alignment with the BLQA testing plan
- Drafting and submitting entrance and exit results memos to
impacted stakeholders
- Designing test scripts, test steps & testing templates
- Selecting populations/samples for testing
- Requesting and collecting testing evidence and support
- Control testing
- Coordinating reviews of test workpapers with the BLQA
Manager/BLQA Team Leader
- Communicating results
- Updating BLQA Policies & procedures, creating process job
aids
- Recommending solutions to mitigate control gaps
- Identifying and executing process improvements in the BLQA
functionIn the execution of these responsibilities the BLQA Testing
Analyst will need excellent written and verbal communication
skills, the ability to work well with and influence others and be
detailed, curious and diligent in the execution of testing. This
role will also interact heavily with the Business Line process and
control owners and other Risk and Audit professionals.Basic
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically 3+ years of applicable experiencePreferred
Skills/Experience
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable laws, regulations,
financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their
assigned line of business
- Intermediate understanding of the business line's operations,
products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
- Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
- Strong analytical, process facilitation and project management
skills
- Effective presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal
communication skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of
software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word
processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
- Applicable professional certifications*The role offers a
hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office
expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work

eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $81,515.00 - $95,900.00 -
