Job Description:
The position will coordinate with supervision, perform field and
laboratory quality control testing of various construction
materials. Perform a variety of field and lab tests per AET QA
Procedures, maintaining a high level of quality and safety. The
services provided within the company are performed to the standards
of our industry including ASTM, ASIC, and ACI as well as state laws
governing professional services. All services will be performed in
accordance with AET's QA/QC procedures. Essential Functions

functions. Performing field and laboratory testing of concrete,
soils, bituminous and masonry products.Perform other laboratory
tests and calibrations as directed.Ability read and understand
plans and specifications.Reporting test results Communicate
effectively with project managers, clients, contractors, and/or
ready-mix suppliers.Maintain AET's productivity standards.Must
provide quality of service and work product that meets or exceeds
AET's expectations. Must have skills including tact, diplomacy, and
flexibility to work effectively with coworkers and clients.
Supervisory Responsibility This role will not have any direct
reports or provide work direction. Qualifications and Education
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Maintain valid
driver's license and acceptable driving record.Preferred Skills
Ability to develop and implement creative/innovative solutions to a
wide range of problems.Ability to use personal computer software,
especially Microsoft OfficeAbility to interact successfully with a
wide variety of people, work effectively within project teams,
resolve issues and problems in a constructive manner, and work
independently in the field. Effective communication skills Work
Environment This position also may require field work in outdoor
conditions on construction sites with uneven ground and adverse
weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office
equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Physical
Demands The physical demands described here are representative of

essential functions of this job While performing the duties of this
job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The
employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands or
finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee
is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, and stoop,
kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or
move up to 60 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60-100
pounds. The employee will occasionally push or pull equipment
weighing up to 200 pounds. The employee is required to frequently
work outside.-- Specific vision abilities required by this job
include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Pay
Transparency Base compensation is expected to be in the range of
$18.46-23.08 per hour based on skill set and experience. AET offers
