Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring a Machine Operator in Northfield, MN

As a Machine Operator you will:

Review production schedules, process procedures and specifications regarding the sequential start-up, operation and control of automated equipment and peripheral hardware.
Monitor the operation of the automated equipment and peripheral hardware.
Inspect quality levels of production on the automated equipment and peripheral hardware.
Record data required for statistical process control or inventory management.
Perform preventive maintenance on the automated equipment and peripheral hardware at specified intervals and schedules.
Perform sequential shutdown, including the cleaning of the automated equipment or peripheral hardware.



Shift: 2nd Shift Mon-Friday 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM

3rd Shift Sun- Thu 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM



The ideal candidate will have:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Attendance
Basic Math
Read and interpret instructions.
Prior forklift/pallet jack and other motorized equipment exp. preferred

Machine Operator Experience
Slitters
Mixers
Prior use of food mixing machines a plus!



This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity.



Duration: 12 Months



Pay Rate: $19.70 - $20.70 Per Hour



*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
