Job Description:
1605 Heritage Drive, Northfield, MN 55057Job DescriptionThis is
a full-time position located in our Northfield, MN branch. This
position reports directly to the President/CEO and is part of the
Executive Team. Responsibilities include maintaining adequate
credit, compliance and operational risk procedures, thus ensuring
the bank is in full compliance with all banking laws, regulations
and internal policies and procedures. This position serves as an
advisor to Senior Management in all areas of credit and risk
management to ensure safe and sound underwriting of the Bank's loan
portfolio. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Credit Risk Management: oversees the bank's risk management
process to control risk and minimize credit losses.
- Loan Portfolio Quality: ensures the quality of the bank's
lending portfolio.
- Loan Procedures: oversees loan procedures and collections.
- Regulatory Compliance: works with management to ensure internal
documentation complies with appropriate banking laws and
regulations.
- Loan Decisions: makes decisions for the bank's lending
department.
- Chairs the Bank Loan Committee: ensures credit quality, growth
and margin objectives for the entire loan portfolio.
- Holding Company Credit Committee: interacts with the bank
holding company's credit committee to ensure a foundational credit
approval process.
- Staff Supervision: oversees the credit analysts and
collaborates with loan operations.
- Loan Loss Reserve: responsible for administering and monitoring
the loan loss reserve for adequacy, quarterly call reporting and
analysis methodology.
- Community Reinvestment Act: serves as the bank's CRA
Officer.
- Collaboration: works with the President/CEO, CLO, the lenders
and the Board of Directors to ensure credit compliance and minimize
credit risk and losses to the bank.
- Enterprise Risk Management: serves as chair for the ERM
Committee.Education & Experience
- 10+ years of banking experience with a thorough knowledge of
the laws and regulations from regulatory agencies. This includes an
emphasis on CECL, loan workouts, participations, credit and leading
risk management.
- RMA Credit Risk Certified (CRC) or other relevant credentials a
plus.
- 5+ years of executive leadership experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related
experience required.
- Experience in Fiserv preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.AboutCommunity
