Job Description:
As the Vice President, you will develop and execute the
strategic vision for the Engineering & Operations search practice
within Versique, ensuring alignment with the company's overall
growth objectives. This senior leadership role requires a deep
understanding of the engineering and operations landscape, strong
business acumen, and the ability to forge lasting relationships
with clients and candidates. You will drive the practice's success
by building a top-tier team and enhancing Versique's presence in
the marketplace as the face of the Engineering & Operations search
practice.In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy for the
Engineering & Operations search practice, ensuring alignment with
Versique's broader business objectives.
- Actively engage in the marketplace to build strong
relationships with key clients and candidates, generating
opportunities for the team and acting as the primary representative
of the Engineering & Operations practice.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain experienced full-desk recruiters
specializing in Engineering & Operations, fostering a
high-performance, collaborative, and growth-focused team
culture.
- Establish key performance metrics for the team, monitoring
recruitment activity and results to ensure continuous improvement
and success.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivating and
maintaining strong client relationships to understand their current
and future Engineering & Operations hiring needs.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract top-tier
engineering and operations talent, leveraging multiple channels,
including social media, job boards, and professional networks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring
high satisfaction levels and exceptional service delivery across
the team.
- Act as an intermediary between clients and candidates
throughout the interview process, addressing issues and concerns to
facilitate a smooth and positive experience.
- Stay informed about trends and challenges in the engineering
and operations sectors, identifying new growth opportunities and
innovative recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with the other practice areas within Versique to
ensure the firm's continued success and fulfillment of core
values.To excel in this role, you have:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 10+ years of experience in sales, staffing, and recruiting or
equivalent experience with at least 5 years in a leadership
role.
- A deep understanding of the engineering and operations
industries, including key trends, technologies, and talent
acquisition challenges.
- Proven track record of recruiting and building teams that drive
business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal
skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to
optimize recruitment processes.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment
software.Location: St. Louis Park, MNSchedule: Hybrid - the office
is open Monday through Friday. Employees may take advantage of the
hybrid work schedule by working remotely Monday and Friday while
working onsite Tuesday through Thursday.Salary: Compensation for
this role will consist of a base salary ranging from $80k to $100k
(depending on skills and experience), a bonus opportunity, and
