Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.DescriptionKey Responsibilities:

  • Act as Director of Sales while position is vacant.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships in support of targeted business.
  • Utilize negotiating skills and strong selling abilities to close and negotiate business.
  • Effectively communicate with all departments within the hotel to ensure accurate delivery of client expectations.Support the sales success of assigned hotels by executing the following:
    • Identify and develop strategic action plans to address challenges and barriers.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive business plans that define hotels' objectives and support financial goals.
    • Utilize sales expertise to analyze, revise, and implement changes to sales and marketing plans as directed by the Regional VP of Sales.
    • Generate hotel revenue through achievement of specific goals and action plans for assigned hotel(s).
    • Participate in selection and training of new sales associates, using CSM processes and brand standards.
    • Lead, direct, and support hotel sales teams to assure achievement of individual and team goals.
    • Provide feedback, coaching, and mentoring and effectively manage performance that is not meeting expectations.
    • Utilize standardized pre-trip planning and post-trip reporting processes in a timely and relevant manner.
    • Adhere to and champion Delphi and/or brand-specific PMS systems within assigned hotels.Education/Experience:
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Minimum of 3-5 years in direct hotel sales and marketing with hotels of like brand, segment, and rate level as the CSM portfolio.
      • Proven detail orientation with strong organization, self-motivation, and verbal/written communication skills.
      • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%.
      • Proficient in MS Office applications, Outlook, and webinar software.
      • Preference for multi-property sales/leadership experience.
