About the Job
The College of Continuing and Professional Studies (CCAPS) offers
three affiliated programs - a Master of Professional Studies in
Applied Sciences Leadership (ASCL) degree and graduate certificates
in Leadership for Science Professionals and Regulatory Affairs for
Food Professionals. The ASCL programs provide academic preparation
for working professionals interested in advancing their career in
the sciences and science-adjacent leadership fields. This position
reports to the Director, CCAPS Graduate Programs.

About the Department
The College of Continuing and Professional Studies (CCAPS) at the
University of Minnesota seeks candidates for future instructional
positions within the Master of Professional Studies in Applied
Sciences Leadership (ASCL), a professional program intended for
current and future science and science-adjacent leaders. The
program consists of two stackable graduate certificates, Leadership
for Science Professionals (LSP) and Regulatory Affairs for Food
Professionals (Reg Affairs). These programs are fully online and
provide disciplinary expertise with complementary leadership and
management skills. In CCAPS you'll find a flexible, hybrid work

empowering lifelong learners to achieve their educational goals in
a learner-centric environment where diverse ideas, backgrounds, and
identities are embraced. CCAPS has a large and diverse portfolio of
program offerings, including bachelor's and master's degrees,

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: Instructors are paid $2,280 per credit for full
enrollment courses. For example, a three credit course at full
enrollment would be paid at $6,840.
Retirement plan options are available for Civil Service, Faculty,
Labor-Represented, Professional & Administrative, and Temp Casual
