SUMMARY:NMDP is a non-profit organization in the exciting and
rapidly evolving cellular therapy industry. We seek an Enterprise
Architect to oversee our substantial and growing set of
capabilities on our platforms, enabling operations, customer
service, care plans, marketing, and sales.Enterprise Architecture
is a critical function that supports the strategic planning and
alignment of our organization's technology infrastructure with its
business goals. The Enterprise Architect is responsible for
creating and implementing an overall technology strategy that meets
the current and future needs of the organization, while also
ensuring that the technology systems are secure, reliable, and
scalable.The Enterprise Architect works closely with key
stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders,
technology teams, and other subject matter experts, to identify
business requirements and develop technology solutions that align
with the organization's goals and objectives. The Enterprise
Architect also provides guidance and direction to technology teams
on the best practices and standards for system architecture,
design, and development. This position can be remote (US) or
hybrid.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing and maintaining the overall technology strategy and
roadmap for the organization.
- Ensuring alignment between technology initiatives and business
goals.
- Providing guidance and direction to technology teams on system
architecture, design, and development best practices and
standards.
- Identifying and managing risks associated with technology
initiatives.
- Working within and collaborating with a larger architectural
team.
- Collaborate closely with business leadership to formulate
technology strategies that harmonize with specific business
requirements and the company's overall strategic vision.
- Lead the development of the organization's technology roadmap,
ensuring that technology initiatives advance the company's primary
objectives.
- Provide expert technical guidance and support to solution
architects and development teams, promoting architectural and
design excellence to deliver advanced enterprise solutions.
- Oversee the lifecycle of integration projects from initiation
to delivery, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations and
maintaining coherence with established business processes.
- Spearhead the full integration of Salesforce Health Cloud,
enhancing document management, task coordination, care delivery,
and order management, to streamline healthcare processes.
- Develop and oversee a Critical Data Model within Salesforce,
organizing and managing patient data effectively to support
improved data-driven decisions in patient care.
- Innovate patient care management by guiding the development of
dynamic Salesforce profiles that offer a comprehensive view of
patient health, tailored to personalize the healthcare
experience.
- Guide the improvement of patient outcomes and the streamlining
of service coordination by optimizing Salesforce's Care and Program
Management modules for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
- Play a pivotal role in actively and effectively influencing
discussions and decisions within the Architecture Review Board
(ARB), contributing positively as a collaborative team
member.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of:
- Enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, Zachman, and
FEAF.
- Business architecture and how it supports business strategy and
operations.
- Technology architecture, including infrastructure,
applications, data, and security.
- Emerging technologies and trends in the industry.
- Regulatory and compliance requirements in the industry.Ability
to:
- Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant
detail.
- Comfortable to switch hat and work deeper in Solution
Architecture space.
- Act as a trusted advisor within the technology domain,
providing support and resolving complex issues in collaboration
with other Enterprise Architects, Service Delivery Managers, and
Project Managers.
- Champion a culture of teamwork and trust, driving collective
success through collaboration, open communication, and mutual
respect among all team members.
- Work side-by-side with Solution Architects and development
teams on best practices in solution design, including integration
patterns, architectural standards, and environment management.
- Learn business use cases quickly and effectively convey complex
ideas/solutions to audiences of diverse background and technical
exposure.
- Anticipate stakeholder needs, develop, and discuss potential
solutions, even before the stakeholder realizes they are
required.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and
verbal.Education and/or Experience:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science,
information technology, engineering, or a related field or a
combination of years of experience, and/or certifications in
information technology.
- Possess 8+ years of IT architecture experience, specializing in
enterprise architecture.
- 5+ years of experience leading Salesforce implementations, and
2+ years experience with Health Cloud preferred.
- Leading significant technology projects, including strategy
development and road mapping.
- Skilled in instituting technology standards, and managing
vendor contracts, with a strong background in collaborating with
business leaders for technology solutions integration.
- Proficient in risk management and compliance, with effective
communication of complex technical ideas to varied
audiences.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that
may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not
required for consideration)
- Integrate social networks within Salesforce to bolster lead
generation, customer engagement, and marketing efforts.
- Experience transitioning from Household to Person Accounts in
Salesforce.
- Utilize AI capabilities for advanced data analysis and
predictive insights.
- Integration Knowledge with middleware tools like WSO2,
