This includes medical, dental, vision, HSA, PTO, 403B, tuition reimbursement, and so much more!Responsibilities/Job Description:Maintains patient carePerforms examinationsIdentifies relevant data from images accuratelyCommunicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professionalParticipates in crafting a culture of patient safetyDemonstrates knowledge of emergency preparednessVerify patient identification and documentationConnect with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of examAchieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocolEnsures patient data integrityAccurately completes computer functions; edits, scheduling, billing, status changes and image transfers in a timely mannerAccurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archivingParticipates as an active team memberOrients and mentors new employees and studentsParticipates in department/facility process/quality improvement initiativesResponsible for personal and professional development to ensure current knowledge required for positionCleans and maintains rooms and suppliesProvides integrated services with customers and care partners to ensure high quality careContributes to a positive work environmentPerforms other duties as assignedCorrectly operating equipment according to accepted standards and guidelinesIdentifies and responds to equipment problems to ensure equipment is working properlyMaintains a high level of competencyAccepts new technology as it's introduced into the facilityParticipates in Quality Assurance testing as required by regulatory agencies and/or manufacturer recommendationsDemonstrates the ability to deliver care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.Qualifications:Required:Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (before date of hire) from American Heart Association or American Red CrossPreferred:1 year of experience as a technologistExperience working with pediatric patientsby Jobble
